When you apply, during Stage One - Checks the system automatically checks your Twitch account to ensure you are passing basic criteria before being allowed to pass through to Stage Two - Application.
As part of how we handle your information, we have an important notice that explains this on the Apply Page.
This explains that by pressing the button to apply, you agree to have your Twitch account checked and that by doing so, allowing us to use and verify information collected strictly in accordance with your Shaden Application.
Further, when an application is sent, we will be checking other secret criteria to determine your suitability for the role and we will have access to other data and information of you across the realm that we will use to make determinations as to whether or not to pass your application through to the next stage.

This criteria change applies to any new applications from today and will not impact current applications already recieved.
The secret data and information that we have is mostly available to us anyway for existing applications.

A reminder about data and information we collect and use:
I want to stress a point relating the data we have access to because I know this is a genuine and legitimate concern online in relation to privacy and data security in genral...
Nothing we see is detrimental to your account security or your personal self.
The email you enter into the application form is NOT shared with members of The Shadow Court or The Inner Circle of Shadow, including myself (I don't want to know what it is anyway).
The members of The Shadow Court of Protection are the only ones that have access to your application and will contact you via Discord to notify you personally if needed.
No personal contact will be made via email.
The only purpose of entering an email is to ensure you get updates by our system which is handled fully automatically.
However, in the interest of Trust & Safety principles, this data will not be shared automatically with you or be publicly available to anyone.

Shaden Applications are considered SECRET and under the protection of The Shadow Court.
Applications to become a Shaden Warrior are kept secret by The Shadow Court of Protection.
As ruler of the realm, and with my history of online safety and moderation, I take this very seriously.
This means that these applications will not be mentioned or presented on stream, posted anywhere else or shared with anyone else.
If you would like to talk about your application with us on stream, you can but we are careful in how we answer these questions and only respond in respect to the context you are asking in as well as your safety.
This means if you ask us a question about your application in the stream chat (or other public chat), you will be given a response in respect to your privacy but also one that anwers your question.
Depending on the information, it may be kept vague or you may receive a personal follow up message later with the answer.

Having said this, if you are successful, you may be mentioned in news and announcement pages on the website or channels on Discord
Given your elevated status in the community, this will be obvious anyway at this point.

In the interest of Freedom of Access to Information requests:
If you would like to request data and information we have automatically collected from you during the application process, you can petition The Shadow Court of Protection to share with you personally.
Given the sensitive nature of The Shadow Court of Protection, we are careful not to show or share these petitions publicly (such as on stream) unlike the other jurisdictions. However, a member of this area of The Shadow Court will contact you privately to share this data and information with you.
